Shawnee Mission East Volleyball Parent & Player Meeting
Thursday (5/10) at 6:00pm in the Aux Gymnasium at SME.
(First gym as you walk in the door).

• Incoming Freshmen
• Returning Players
• Anyone that is interested in trying out in the Fall

We will be discussing
 Summer Training and Weights
 Team expectations and the Future of SME Volleyball
 Spirit Wear design for upcoming year
 South League Team sign up: There will be TWO teams in Varsity Division. If we have enough for a third team or Freshmen we will do so.
 Lancer Volleyball Camp Registration
There have been time changes for Freshman & 10th, 11th, 12th grade groups.
Please go to smesports.org and CAMPS to print updated form or VOLLEYBALL to read about the time changes. You can also register Thursday night at SME.

Lancer Volleyball Camp 2012 Time Changes

Camp times are being changed.

10th, 11th, 12th camp time will be from 10am-Noon.
9th grade camp time will be from 3:30pm-5:30pm.

Lancer Volleyball Camp – 2012

Lancer Volleyball Camp is coming June 18 – 21!
It will be held at SME in the Main Gym.

South League 2012

SME Volleyball will be participating this year in South League.

Please contact Coach Cooper as to any conflicts that may arise or will prevent your active participation.

SME will put a Varsity and JV team together.

If there is enough interest, a Sophomore and Freshman team can be put together as well.

Summer Conditioning & Training 2012

SME Volleyball is looking to add Summer Conditioning & Cardio.
It will run June 4 – August 3.

Parent / Player meeting in early May 2012

SME Volleyball will be having a parent/player meeting TBA.
We hope to hold it the 2nd week of May, either on a Wednesday or Thursday night around 6pm.
We will be introducing the new staff, talking about expectations for the Fall season and
discussing Summer Conditioning/Training and signing up teams for South League.

Volleyball Tryouts

Volleyball Tryouts will be announced this August 2012. Teams will be announced as soon as they’re set. YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL TURNED IN TO PARTICIPATE. So if you haven’t turned yours in yet, bring it with you to tryouts. Thanks, and good luck!
